Locating the web files (Step 2 of 6)

Web folder plus a few extras

By default the EventSentry ASP web files can be found in the Web folder of the installation path.

C:\Program Files\EventSentry\Web

In addition, the required XML configuration files are found in the parent directory of the ASP web files, in

C:\Program Files\EventSentry

You have the option of moving these files to any computer where IIS is installed. For example, it would be very easy to copy the web files to the C:\Inetpub\wwwroot folder of your web sever. Please note that you have to move both the Web folder and the XML configuration files in the parent folder. The XML files have to be in the parent directory of the Web folder.

In our case we are going to keep things organized and leave the Web folder and the configuration files where they are, in the EventSentry folder.
