The Hardware Inventory page shows you wealth of information about the operating system as well as the hardware of the monitored computer. The available information includes the following:
Click here for a complete list of all available features.
Computer, CPU Speed, CPU Count, Memory, Service Pack, Graphics Adapter, Screen Resolution By selecting one or more of the above fields, only computers matching your selection will be displayed.
Processor Type, OS, Bios Version / Serial Number You can specify a partial string to match a processor type or OS, e.g. "2000" so the search only returns Windows 2000 machines.
Sort By Use this field to sort your output.
Group By You can group output by selecting one or more (hold the CTRL key while selecting multiple) fields from the "Group By" box.
Show Chart Selecting the "Show Chart" option will display a graphical chart in addition to the text report. A pie chart is shown if you group by one field, a stacked column chart is displayed when you group by two fields. Grouping by more than two fields will not show a chart.
Results When one computer is selected the show details option will automatically be expanded. By clicking the show/hide details link you toggle more information such as Memory Slots available, Network Name, and Disk Controllers.
Wake On LAN When a computer is down you will have the option to send a Wake On LAN request to the remote server. The web reports will determine a remote server is down from the values logged by the EventSentry Heartbeat agent. If you are not monitoring the machines with the Heartbeat agent the web reports will send two pings to the remote server before declaring that the machine is down.
