- Open the management console
- Navigate to Packages -> System Health
- In the ribbon, click on the arrow below "Filter" and select "Network Time Sync"
- Locate the appropriate package, expand it and click on "Network Time Sync (NTP)"
- Adjust the interval, tolerance, event severity and/or NTP server list
- Save the configuration
To add NTP monitoring perform these steps:
- Open the management console
- Navigate to Packages -> System Health
- In the ribbon, click on "Add" and name the package "Network Time Sync"
- Locate the package, in the ribbon, click the arrow below "Add" and click on "Network Time Sync (NTP)"
- Locate the appropriate package, expand it and click on "Network Time Sync (NTP)"
- Adjust the interval, tolerance, event severity and/or NTP server list
- Locate the package, right-click and select "Assign" or click "Global to assign to all hosts
- Save the configuration
To disable NTP monitoring perform these steps:
- Open the management console
- Navigate to Packages -> System Health
- In the ribbon, click on the arrow below "Filter" and select "Network Time Sync"
- Locate the appropriate package and select it
- Select "Properties" in the ribbon
- Clear the Enable package check box
- Save or Save & Deploy the configuration
You can also exclude alerts for one or more hosts / groups by creating an exclusion filter instead.
