SQL

Regardless of the selection there will always be the option to view SQL or Remove. By selecting SQL the Maintenance Wizard will generate the appropriate SQL statements needed to remove  the selection. It may be helpful when removing large amounts of data to copy these statements into the available database tools such as MySQL Query Browser or SQL Server Management Studio. Using SQL does not require any authentication.

Remove

In order to remove data from the database it is required that an Administrative password like sa for SQL Server or root for MySQL is provided. The Maintenance Wizard will display a progress bar for each area of the web reports that is being removed. Since each area is purged separated this will avoid timeout issues previously experienced in earlier versions of the Maintenance Wizard. By clicking on the Copy SQL to clipboard the SQL statements being used to purge this area will be copied to the clipboard for use on the database tools available.

There was a problem

In the event this message is presented, clicking on the message will reveal more information. This message is very common when a computer is being removed from the web reports, but it still has an agent writing information. In this case, the computer cannot be removed without violating the constraint.
