Account Settings

The Account Settings page will only be available when EventSentry's built-in authentication is enabled. This page allows the user to view their privileges / permissions, change their password and manage their overrides.

General

This tab allows a user to change their username, email address or password in additional to viewing the authentication group assignment. Please note that neither group assignments nor the account status can be changed from this page.

Privileges

This tab allows a user to view their privileges and permissions. This is a read-only representation of the permissions / privileges.

Options

This tab is the most useful section of the Account Settings page. It allows each user to override options based on their own preference. In cases where a user would like to view specific performance counters on the Computer Overview page or the order in which those items are loaded, they can configure that by enabling the override. In the example below I declared a user override on the Default Record Limit and the Default Time Limit.
