Network Message

EventSentry can send network messages to remote machines, similar to the net send feature. To receive network messages, remote machines must have the messenger service running.

NetBIOS Name

This is the NetBIOS name of the remote host. This host must be running the messenger service.

Test

Click this button to send a test message to the remote host.

A sample network message. Please note that network messages are

also logged to the application event log (information) on the target machine.
