With an action (up to 511 can be created) you specify how you will be notified when a relevant event occurs. The following notification types are currently supported:

 

•Email (SMTP) (plain text, (X)HTML or mini)
•ODBC (Database)
•File (including plain text, (X)HTML and CSV files)
•Syslog (UDP or TCP)
•SNMP (v1 traps)
•Parallel Port (ASCII capable matrix printers)
•Network Message
•Process
•Sound
•Desktop
•Service
•Shutdown/Reboot
•Jabber

 

The SMTP, Syslog TCP and ODBC notifications both support the backup feature which will re-notify (e.g. SMTP server is temporarily down) a failed action when it is available again.
