File History

The File History page lets you view a history of actions that have been made to files you are monitoring.

The menu give you a lot of control over how to view the history of actions applied. With this page you can view whether files were added or deleted, increased or decreased, and even if the checksum has changed. There is an option to set a size range on old file sizes or new file sizes as well as by old hashes or new hashes. There is also the option to group by file location, Computer or Action.

Actions

Any change made to a file. This includes adding it to a folder, deleting it, increasing the file size, decreasing the file size, or making any change to the checksum.

Hash

The hash is the checksum given to the file.

Results

The results provide a detailed list of information about each change made to a file. Here we can see the current files size, and the current hash as well as their previous values.

Group By

By grouping the Action option we can see what has changed in folders we are monitoring. In this case we have far more files being added than being removed.
